ESTRUCTURA DEL EVENTO, BASES PARA PARTICIPAR<\/strong><\/h4>\n

PRESENTACI\u00d3N<\/strong>
\nLa creaci\u00f3n de un Espacio Com\u00fan de Educaci\u00f3n Superior surge de la primera Cumbre de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno de ALC-UE en R\u00edo de Janeiro en 1999. La comunidad acad\u00e9mica de ambas regiones decidi\u00f3 contribuir a este prop\u00f3sito, para crear un Espacio Com\u00fan de Educaci\u00f3n Superior, Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n, comenzando con los seminarios de Santiago de Chile, Paris y Lima de 2012, destinados a la preparaci\u00f3n de la I Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica ALC-UE, celebrada en enero de 2013, en Santiago de Chile, realizada en concordancia con la I Cumbre CELAC-UE de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno de ambas regiones. El marco pol\u00edtico e institucional se encuentra en la decisi\u00f3n de crear la Asociaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica Birregional adoptada durante la I Cumbre de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno ALC-UE.<\/p>\n

Con el objetivo de llevar adelante dicha iniciativa, la comunidad acad\u00e9mica, reunida en Santiago de Chile, estableci\u00f3 el FORO ACAD\u00c9MICO PERMANENTE DE AMERICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE Y LA UNION EUROPEA, FAP ALC-UE. La propuesta de creaci\u00f3n del Espacio Com\u00fan fue recogida en las Declaraciones de las Cumbres CELAC-UE de Santiago 2013 y Bruselas 2015, y qued\u00f3 establecida en el Cap\u00edtulo 9 (Educaci\u00f3n Superior) del Plan de Acci\u00f3n CELAC-UE 2015-2020, en particular los compromisos se\u00f1alados en los puntos b), c), d), e), y en los resultados previstos en los puntos m) y o) del mencionado Plan de Acci\u00f3n. (NOTA: Confirmar que, adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1n incluidos en esos aspectos la Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n) Asimismo, lo reafirmado en los puntos 38 y 39 de la Declaraci\u00f3n de la Reuni\u00f3n de Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores CELAC-UE de Bruselas de julio de 2018. El papel de los \u201cactores de la sociedad civil para promover la asociaci\u00f3n birregional\u201d se reafirma en la Declaraci\u00f3n de la Reuni\u00f3n Ministerial de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe con la Uni\u00f3n Europea en diciembre de 2020.<\/p>\n

En consecuencia, el proyecto de creaci\u00f3n de un Espacio Com\u00fan Euro-latinoamericano y Caribe\u00f1o de Educaci\u00f3n Superior, Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n, se ha ido construyendo a trav\u00e9s de las reuniones y Seminarios Preparatorios de car\u00e1cter tem\u00e1tico y de coordinaci\u00f3n realizados en Santiago de Chile, Par\u00eds y Lima 2012; Bucarest y Guadalajara 2014; Lisboa y Alcal\u00e1 de Henares 2015; Lisboa, Santo Domingo y Estocolmo 2016; Salamanca y Alcal\u00e1 de Henares 2017; Roma 2019; y, Loja, Ecuador 2021, y, muy especialmente, los acuerdos de la I Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica de Santiago de Chile 2013; la II Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica de Bruselas 2015; y, la III Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica de C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina, en la cual se adopt\u00f3 el \u201d Compromiso de C\u00f3rdoba\u201d.<\/p>\n

OBJETIVOS DE LA IV CUMBRE ACAD\u00c9MICA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

I<\/strong>
\nCONMEMORAR LOS 10 A\u00d1OS DEL PROYECTO DEL FAP ALC-UE<\/strong><\/p>\n

II<\/strong>
\nReunir a la comunidad acad\u00e9mica de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe y la Uni\u00f3n Europea, para continuar avanzando en el an\u00e1lisis y la convergencia de visiones y prop\u00f3sitos concretos para la construcci\u00f3n del Espacio Acad\u00e9mico Com\u00fan, que sirvan de base a su implementaci\u00f3n, teniendo en cuenta las realidades de ambas regiones, el contexto global, los Objetivos para el Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030, la situaci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n superior, los avances en la ciencia, tecnolog\u00eda e innovaci\u00f3n y la internacionalizaci\u00f3n post-pandemia.<\/p>\n

III<\/strong>
\nAdoptar un proyecto de propuesta de la Comunidad Universitaria Birregional, para un Acuerdo de Integraci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica ALC-UE, a ser presentado a los Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno, Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores y Ministros de Educaci\u00f3n, Ciencia,\u00a0 Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n de los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina, el Caribe y la Uni\u00f3n Europea, as\u00ed como a las instituciones comunitarias de ambas regiones, como un compromiso para la puesta en marcha de un proceso de\u00a0Integraci\u00f3n Universitaria de las dos regiones, y la creaci\u00f3n del Espacio Com\u00fan Euro-latinoamericano y Caribe\u00f1o de Educaci\u00f3n Superior, Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, como el Pilar Acad\u00e9mico de la\u00a0Asociaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe con la Uni\u00f3n Europea<\/strong>\u00a0acordada en junio de 1999 en R\u00edo de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

NOTAS EXPLICATIVAS DE LOS EJES y TALLERES TEMATICOS<\/strong>
\nINTRODUCCION<\/strong>
\nSe trata de un espacio abierto organizado mediante Talleres Tem\u00e1ticos correspondientes a estos seis ejes, para el an\u00e1lisis, la reflexi\u00f3n y, sobre todo, la formulaci\u00f3n de propuestas concretas acerca de los objetivos, temas prioritarios, normas y acciones a emprender en la perspectiva de la construcci\u00f3n del Espacio Com\u00fan ALC-UE de Educaci\u00f3n Superior, Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n.
\nEn estos Talleres podr\u00e1n participar activamente todas las personas o instituciones inscritas en la Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica, en jun di\u00e0logo acad\u00e9mico con intervenciones directas y concretas sobre los aspectos mencionados en el p\u00e1rrafo precedente, u otros que se estimen pertinentes, con vistas a cumplir lo establecido en el Compromiso de C\u00f3rdoba, en particular, elementos para la preparaci\u00f3n de \u201dun Acuerdo de Integraci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe y la Uni\u00f3n Europea para la creaci\u00f3n del Espacio Com\u00fan de Educaci\u00f3n Superior, Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n\u201d
\nPara lograr\u00a0 tales objetivos se recomienda tomar como base, especialmente, el acervo documental reunido en los once\u00a0 Seminarios Preparatorios y las tres Cumbres Acad\u00e9micas celebradas desde 2013 y los correspondientes trabajos emprendidos posteriormente. De este modo, los resultados de los Talleres y los di\u00e1logos en la IV Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica permitir\u00e1n\u00a0\u00a0 precisar, especialmente los temas prioritarios y sus respectivos contenidos, de cada uno de los \u00e1mbitos\u00a0 que definir\u00e1n el Espacio Acad\u00e9mico Com\u00fan y permitir\u00e1n elaborar las propuestas que ser\u00e1n presentadas a los Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno y autoridades de la CELAC y la UE.

\nPor otra parte, se recomienda que los ponentes y participantes tengan en consideraci\u00f3n como un marco de referencia, las metas de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 de las Naciones Unidas, en los que la Educaci\u00f3n Superior, la Ciencia, la Tecnolog\u00eda y la Innovaci\u00f3n son componentes fundamentales para ir visualizando los caminos y alternativas que se nos plantean desde el espacio ALC-UE.<\/p>\n

ORIENTACIONES PRELIMINARES<\/strong>
\nUna primera revisi\u00f3n de las Declaraciones y Propuestas de la I, II y III Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica, as\u00ed como de los documentos de los Seminarios Preparatorios permiten apreciar algunos conceptos iniciales\u00a0 para los trabajos futuros a emprender con vistas a la IV Cumbre Acad\u00e9mica.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. EDUCACI\u00d3N SUPERIOR<\/strong>: Dialogar sobre las condiciones de las instituciones por entrar en procesos sostenibles de internacionalizaci\u00f3n e integraci\u00f3n birregional de la educaci\u00f3n superior, entre otras cosas, el reconocimiento y convergencia de los sistemas de educaci\u00f3n superior del espacio ALC-UE a partir de la diversidad de los actores que los componen y su heterogeneidad, as\u00ed como de las necesidades de desarrollo de sus comunidades.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    En este sentido, tomar en consideraci\u00f3n, entre otros, el trabajo realizado en el marco del Instituto Internacional para la Educaci\u00f3n de Superior en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe (UNESCO-IESALC) sobre la base del Convenio Regional de Reconocimiento de Estudios, T\u00edtulos y Diplomas de Educaci\u00f3n Superior en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 13 de julio de 2019.\u00a0https:\/\/unesdoc.unesco.org\/ark:\/48223\/pf0000374532<\/a>\u00a0) y la experiencia europea.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. FORMACI\u00d3N T\u00c9CNICO PROFESIONAL:\u00a0<\/strong>Reconocer esta dimensi\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n superior, que representa la base para la innovaci\u00f3n, el desarrollo y la investigaci\u00f3n aplicada, frente a la demanda de capital humano con competencias complejas para abordar las transformaciones que la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda nos est\u00e1n demandando, en especial, a Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Se estima que entre el a\u00f1o 2030 y 2050 habr\u00e1n desaparecido o ser\u00e1n reemplazados un porcentaje importante de los actuales puestos de trabajo por la automatizaci\u00f3n de los procesos productivos y organizacionales. Se trata de abordar la problem\u00e1tica que plantea la identificaci\u00f3n y articulaci\u00f3n de aprendizajes formales, no formales e informales que permitan a las personas el aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida y la acreditaci\u00f3n de saberes.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. CIENCIA, TECNOLOG\u00cdA E INNOVACI\u00d3N:<\/strong>\u00a0Promover la convergencia de los sistemas de investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, tecnol\u00f3gica e innovaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la importancia de institucionalizar las redes de investigadores, por ejemplo, con la creaci\u00f3n de un registro de las principales \u00e1reas y proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n a nivel regional y birregional (VI Cumbre de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno ALC-UE, Madrid, 2010).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Se trata de abordar las problem\u00e1ticas planteadas para la integraci\u00f3n y articulaci\u00f3n entre estos sistemas y la transferencia del conocimiento a la sociedad, en especial al sector productivo y a la transformaci\u00f3n productiva desde una perspectiva de equidad, tal como se plantean en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 de las Naciones Unidas.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. VINCULACIONES DE LA ACADEMIA CON LA SOCIEDAD<\/strong>: La colaboraci\u00f3n entre las Instituciones de Educaci\u00f3n Superior (IES) y sus relaciones con el sector productivo y las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, claves para el desarrollo y la innovaci\u00f3n en los territorios y las comunidades.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Se necesita ampliar los espacios de interacci\u00f3n entre los sectores empresarial, educativo y social en ambas regiones, para mejorar los programas de formaci\u00f3n y favorecer la adecuaci\u00f3n entre el mercado del empleo y la oferta educacional. Se enfatiza tambi\u00e9n la necesidad de fomentar la cultura emprendedora de los estudiantes, as\u00ed como la cultura investigadora e innovadora de las empresas, a trav\u00e9s de mecanismos tales como el financiamiento de tesis doctorales y otras formas de integraci\u00f3n de postgraduados en las mismas. Se recalca tambi\u00e9n el aporte que las IES pueden cumplir en el desarrollo de plataformas e instrumentos de integraci\u00f3n, cooperaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n birregionales entre las peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas (PyMEs), con el fin de potenciar su productividad, competitividad e internacionalizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. VINCULACIONES DE LA ACADEMIA CON LAS POL\u00cdTICAS P\u00daBLICAS<\/strong>: Las relaciones de la comunidad acad\u00e9mica con las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, se resalta la funci\u00f3n de las IES como actores propositivos en el proceso de an\u00e1lisis y formaci\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas en los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica latina, el Caribe y la UE.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            En este sentido, se requiere que las IES se constituyan, adem\u00e1s, en \u201cforos de pol\u00edticas\u201d, catalizadoras de consensos participativos para el dise\u00f1o, la implementaci\u00f3n y la evaluaci\u00f3n de la acci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, en especial en el sector educativo y en los \u00e1mbitos de la integraci\u00f3n regional, la sustentabilidad y la inclusi\u00f3n social. Tambi\u00e9n se propone reforzar las sinergias en materia de estrategias de integraci\u00f3n y cooperaci\u00f3n internacional entre los \u00e1mbitos universitarios y p\u00fablicos. En este \u00e1mbito se analizar\u00e1n, en especial, la vinculaci\u00f3n de la academia con las metas y objetivos de los Acuerdos Internacionales sobre Desarrollo Sustentable 2030 y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

              STRUCTURE OF THE EVENT, BASES TO PARTICIPATE<\/strong>PRESENTATION<\/strong>
              \nThe creation of a Common Space for Higher Education arose from the First Summit of Heads of State and Government of LAC-EU in Rio de Janeiro in 1999. The academic community of both regions decided to contribute to this purpose, to create a Common Space for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, beginning with the seminars in Santiago de Chile, Paris and Lima in 2012, aimed at preparing the I LAC-EU Academic Summit, held in January 2013, in Santiago de Chile, held in concordance with the 1st CELAC-EU Summit of Heads of State and Government of both regions. The political and institutional framework is found in the decision to create the Bi-regional Strategic Association adopted during the I Summit of Heads of State and Government LAC-EU.<\/p>\n

              In order to carry out this initiative, the academic community, gathered in Santiago de Chile, established the PERMANENT ACADEMIC FORUM OF LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN AND THE EUROPEAN UNION, FAP LAC-EU. The proposal to create the Common Space was included in the Declarations of the CELAC-EU Summits of Santiago 2013 and Brussels 2015, and was established in Chapter 9 (Higher Education) of the CELAC-EU 2015-2020 Action Plan, in particular the commitments indicated in points b), c), d), e), and in the expected results in points m) and o) of the aforementioned Action Plan. (NOTE: Confirm that, in addition, Science, Technology and Innovation are included in these aspects) Likewise, what was reaffirmed in points 38 and 39 of the Declaration of the CELAC-EU Meeting of Foreign Ministers in Brussels in July 2018. The role of “civil society actors to promote bi-regional association” is reaffirmed in the Declaration of the Ministerial Meeting of Latin America and the Caribbean with the European Union in December 2020.<\/p>\n

              Consequently, the project to create a Common Euro-Latin American and Caribbean Space for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has been built through thematic and coordination meetings and Preparatory Seminars held in Santiago de Chile, Paris and Lima 2012; Bucharest and Guadalajara 2014; Lisbon and Alcal\u00e1 de Henares 2015; Lisbon, Santo Domingo and Stockholm 2016; Salamanca and Alcal\u00e1 de Henares 2017; Rome 2019; and, Loja, Ecuador 2021, and, very especially, the agreements of the I Academic Summit of Santiago de Chile 2013; the II Academic Summit of Brussels 2015; and, the III Academic Summit of C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina, in which the \u201cC\u00f3rdoba Commitment\u201d was adopted.<\/p>\n

              OBJECTIVES OF THE IV ACADEMIC SUMMIT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

              \nBring together the academic community of Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union, to continue advancing in the analysis and convergence of visions and specific purposes for the construction of the Common Academic Space, which serve as a basis for its implementation, taking into account the realities of both regions, the global context, the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, the situation of higher education, advances in science, technology and innovation and post-pandemic internationalization .<\/p>\n

              \nAdopt a draft proposal of the Bi-regional University Community, for a LAC-EU Academic Integration Agreement, to be presented to the Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Ministers of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the countries of Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union, as well as the community institutions of both regions, as a commitment to launch a process of\u00a0University Integration of the two regions, and the creation of the Euro-Latin American Common Space and Caribbean Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation\u00a0<\/strong>, as the Academic Pillar of the\u00a0Strategic Association of Latin America and the Caribbean with the European Union\u00a0<\/strong>agreed in June 1999 in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

              EXPLANATORY NOTES ON THE AREAS AND THEMATIC WORKSHOPS<\/strong>
              \nINTRODUCTION<\/strong>
              \nIt is an open space organized through Thematic Workshops corresponding to these six axes, for analysis, reflection and, above all, the formulation of specific proposals regarding the objectives, priority issues, standards and actions to be undertaken in the perspective of the construction of the LAC-EU Common Space for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
              \nAll persons or institutions registered in the Academic Summit may actively participate in these Workshops, in an academic dialogue with direct and specific interventions on the aspects mentioned in the preceding paragraph, or others that are deemed pertinent, with a view to complying with the provisions of the Cordoba Commitment, in particular, elements for the preparation of “an Academic Integration Agreement between Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union for the creation of the Common Space for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation”
              \nTo achieve these objectives, it is recommended to take as a basis, especially, the documentary collection gathered in the eleven Preparatory Seminars and the three Academic Summits held since 2013 and the corresponding work undertaken subsequently. In this way, the results of the Workshops and the dialogues at the IV Academic Summit will make it possible to specify, especially the priority topics and their respective contents, of each one of the areas that will define the Common Academic Space and will allow the elaboration of the proposals that will be presented to the Heads of State and Government and authorities of CELAC and the EU.

              \nOn the other hand, it is recommended that the speakers and participants take into consideration, as a frame of reference, the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, in which Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation are fundamental components to visualize the paths and alternatives that are proposed to us from the LAC-EU space.<\/p>\n

               <\/p>\n

              PRELIMINARY GUIDANCE<\/strong>
              \nA first review of the Declarations and Proposals of the I, II and III Academic Summit, as well as the documents of the Preparatory Seminars, allow us to appreciate some initial concepts for future work to be undertaken with a view to the IV Academic Summit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

              1. HIGHER EDUCATION\u00a0<\/strong>: Dialogue on the conditions of the institutions to enter into sustainable processes of internationalization and bi-regional integration of higher education, among other things, the recognition and convergence of the higher education systems of the LAC-EU space based on the diversity of the actors that compose them and their heterogeneity, as well as the development needs of their communities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                In this sense, take into consideration, among others, the work carried out within the framework of the International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO-IESALC) on the basis of the Regional Agreement for the Recognition of Studies, Degrees and Diplomas of Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean, Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 13, 2019.\u00a0https:\/\/unesdoc.unesco.org\/ark:\/48223\/pf0000374532\u00a0<\/a>) and the European experience.<\/p>\n

PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL TRAINING:\u00a0<\/strong>Recognize this dimension of higher education, which represents the basis for innovation, development and applied research, in the face of the demand for human capital with complex skills to address the transformations that science and technology are demanding of us especially to Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  It is estimated that between 2030 and 2050 a significant percentage of current jobs will have disappeared or will be replaced by the automation of production and organizational processes. It is about addressing the problem posed by the identification and articulation of formal, non-formal and informal learning that allow people to learn throughout life and the accreditation of knowledge.<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION:\u00a0<\/strong>Promote the convergence of scientific, technological and innovation research systems, as well as the importance of institutionalizing networks of researchers, for example, with the creation of a registry of the main research areas and projects at the national level. regional and bi-regional (VI Summit of Heads of State and Government LAC-EU, Madrid, 2010).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    The aim is to address the issues raised for the integration and articulation between these systems and the transfer of knowledge to society, especially to the productive sector and productive transformation from an equity perspective, as set out in the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. LINKS BETWEEN THE ACADEMY AND SOCIETY\u00a0<\/strong>: Collaboration between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and their relationships with the productive sector and civil society organizations, key to development and innovation in territories and communities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      It is necessary to expand the spaces of interaction between the business, educational and social sectors in both regions, to improve training programs and favor the adequacy between the employment market and the educational offer. Emphasis is also placed on the need to promote the entrepreneurial culture of students, as well as the research and innovative culture of companies, through mechanisms such as the financing of doctoral theses and other forms of integration of postgraduates in them. The contribution that HEIs can make in the development of bi-regional integration, cooperation and innovation platforms and instruments between small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs ) is also emphasized, in order to enhance their productivity, competitiveness and internationalization.<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      1. LINKS OF THE ACADEMY WITH PUBLIC POLICIES\u00a0<\/strong>: The relations of the academic community with public policies, highlighting the role of HEIs as proactive actors in the process of analysis and formation of public policies in the countries of Latin America, the Caribbean and the EU.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        In this sense, it is required that HEIs also become “policy forums”, catalysts of participatory consensus for the design, implementation and evaluation of public action, especially in the educational sector and in the areas of regional integration, sustainability and social inclusion. It is also proposed to strengthen synergies in terms of integration strategies and international cooperation between the university and public spheres. In this area, the link between academia and the goals and objectives of the International Agreements on Sustainable Development 2030 and Climate Change will be analysed.<\/p>\n

                        Finally, it is necessary to provide a sufficient budget for public policies to support the internationalization and integration strategies of HEIs (student, teacher and administrative mobility, among others) and incorporate experts on the internationalization of higher education both in the organizations government and multilateral organizations responsible for the education sector as well as in the HEIs themselves.<\/p>\n

                        1. GENDER POLICIES AND INTEGRATION OF WOMEN IN THE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT:\u00a0<\/strong>The gap in the participation of women in academia, especially in the upper segments of the pyramid, is very large. The contribution of women in science, technology and innovation must be made visible, as well as the transfer of knowledge to the community from a gender neutrality. The role of women and their contributions to the academy must be highlighted, which has been an invisible topic in most forums, for which the FAP LAC-EU considers that it should be incorporated into the discussion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
